Today was the passing of a titan.

So i decided to start playing FFXI again. Will see how long it lasts with the next update.  Still perfer to play Team fortress instead especially since i just got an awesome new top hat for demoman~

Finding myself more and more interested in FFXIV . Told myself i wouldn't even consider playing it and would quit XI if they decided to stop content for it.  XIV has alot of potential but so did XI, problem i have with XIV is that its just so obvious that development on XIV has hurt XI even going as far back as release of WoTG. Mini expansions and the last 2 updates have really shown that the time not spent on XI is really starting to show.  Its likely ideas and content ment for XI have probally been moved to XIV or basicly being beta tested in XI for XIV. Which as a XI player i really hate but then i thought about it more and thought what if i was a developer?  If i was i wouldnt want to be spending all my time on a game thats almost 8 years old and having all my ideas being prevented or reduced from the million hardware/software limitations found in a aging/badly programed game.  Have spent a long time playing XI and obviously bias to it but maybe starting over isnt that bad of an idea. Really when i think about it the best times i had in FFXI were when i was new first trying to get to 75. 

SO getting over my intial hatred that XIV was going to kill XI im starting to see alot of potential in the game.  The 3 starting cities are all much more interesting then XI and i like the Ocean/Forrest/Desert themes more then the Industrial/Magical/Kingdom themes of XI's cities. Lack of a tradition job system seems pretty exciting but im wary of it at the same time since it puts alot more importance on gear(more lootwhoring) and theres no stated drawback on everyone being able to change into any job at anytime. So will i play XIV now?  Its starting to lean towards yes but it all depends on how much SE is willing to put into making the game about what players what instead of what they think players want.  Since the bigest problem with FF XI was SE itself unless they change their perspective XIV is gonna get overwhelmed by WoW, Aion and anything else coming in the future.
Oh well back to Marvel vs Capcom2.

Didnt buy kupo expansion and waiting on people for Wotg missions and im competely bored.  There really isnt much anything new to do added this update.

Just got back from Taste of Chicago got alot of good food this year including gator sausage and a free slice of a 2000pound cheesecake.

Got my first Tf2 hat today it was fancy fedora but i never play spy :(

So Rapture is indeed Final Fantasy XIV (something SE swore multiple times it was not) Release is 2010 on PS3 and Windows, so the big questions are is this going to kill FFxi? and are you going to play it?

Personally i would hate to see FFxi die before i got my far east expansion and for as for trying FF XIV im not sure really.  SE has screwed up so many times with XI i think id rather wait before diving into XIV.

What!? A sequel already?!  Would greatly perfer if it was a dlc but meh i guess it looks like it has enough improved content in it to justify being a new game.  Can't help but be a little pissed about it tho l4d is only a year old and has only recieved on real update so i hope l4d2 uses the old content somehow.

Hurray TF2 update been waiting for sniper update for long time.  Huntsman Bow looks pretty fun but probally gonna take forever to get one.  Valve changed unlocks from being based on achievements to randomly awarded each time you die. Unfortantely it can give you weapons you already have so odds of getting a new item you want are extremely low and many people and 2-5 of an item they already had.  Random drops pissed me off so much i kicked a chair across the room, then next thing i knew i had learned Jarate!!  I never play spy but they got some nice changes and unlocks makes me wanna reconsider playing it especially with how cool Ambassabor looks.  Theres alot of minor additions to prompt more teamwork as well pyro's airblast and jarate can stop fires on allies and pyros can ignite Huntsman arrows to help snipers do additional damage.  Havent found a nonfull server running pipeline or new arena maps but got to try pl_hoodoo and it was pretty decent setup simular to goldrush.  Pretty awsome unlocks and Meet the Spy video round out a very nice update too bad its brought down a bit my random ass weapon drops, whole community is up in arms about it so it will probally get changed eventally.

Spent 300 tabs got chapter4 key item for Behemoths dominion, one shot the nm with kaiten and it returned my Hawker's knife to me with the amazing additions of +1 acc and resist virus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Leave it to SE to take something amazing and make it completely fail.  This update in general basicly fell really short of its potential, its not a bad update but at the same time it feels like its missing something.  Last several updates have felt lacking so to speak, while they have added alot of nice things like mazes and lv sync. there hasnt been any sizable ammount of new content to tackle. No new areas, no hnms, pitiful ammount of quests and nothing really added to increase the reason to goto wotg areas. Wotg been out over a year now and theres still barely any reason for me to goto any the areas.  Allied Note NMS look like fun but knowing my ls they gonna be gay about it and never help with them just like znm.  New expansionettte looks promising by the mission structure is pretty retarded and full of unintended frustrations.  Doubt SE wanted 60+ people in jugnar fighting tooth and nail for too weak mobs.  Still have hope for things added and theres tons of potential but it seems like everytime SE takes a step towards connecting with what its players want they find every way possible to ruin it.

FUCK YEAH!!!! Sniper is next class update!  Probally gonna be awhile before it come out but Valve mentioned they have a update coming out before Sniper pack that will give content to all classes so really looking forward to that.  As for TF2 right now i been playing alot of heavy on badwater and goldrush lately been having fun tearing people apart with sasha~

So i havent been playing FFxi much lately but i decided to hop on last night and got error msg POL-011 i thought nothing of it and decided to try later. Well i tried again today and i keep getting this message over and over again. POL-0011: The network is busy or there is no response from the server. My internet is fine and i havent change any setting on my computer recently so i have no idea why i keep getting this message. I ran file checks, restarted router/computer etc nothing seems to be working. Can try to reinstall but would rather save that as a last resort.

Haven't been playing FFxi much last 2 weeks for alot of reasons theres the typical reasons SE are retards, close friends haven't been on as much. Main reason is lately when i have been get on and i sit there hoping most the day just hoping to do anything, which sucks cuz theres plenty of content in the game i still wanna do(salvage/nyzul/ZNM/MMM/Stronhold NMs etc) its just no one actually asks me to do anything with them anymore and people rarely wanna do/help when i ask.
Kinda frustrating since i been playing this game forever and this is the first time that i cant seem to get anything done. Don't like that my playtime had basicly boiled down to AFK till einherjar/dynamis/tiamat then afk repeat. Been a year an half since i last took a break from the game so its been needed awhile now. Im sure mythe is probally calling me a faggot now~


Since im on break from FFxi most my gameplay has shifted to Left4dead and team fortress2. Played TF2 alot on my roomates xbox360 so i decided to pick it up on PC since it was half off this week for the scout update. Main reason for switching over was that xbox360 is like a year behind PC on updates and i didnt want to wait for all the new maps, weapons and achievements. Played Engineer/Sniper mostly on 360 but been playing Pyro/Scout the most since they have achievements for new unlocks. Been working together with Ketsaiga to get achivements and so far i got~

Still logging on FFxi for einherjar/dynamis but probally not gonna really play for another week or 2 at the latest wait for April update. Hopefully this next update with be EPIC because it really needs to be.
